it's possible to run a RIA application on a Chromebooks.
To be able to install you APK
1- You need to put the Chromebook in Developer Mode (Special key combination on the reboot - beware it wipe some data) 2- Allow Unknown source (if your application is not signed)
The other way without the developer Mode is to put your application APK in the Play store..
Why a Chromebook:
In our case we need a small cheap device with a keyboard, rugged with good battery life - we found some Chromebook that was made for schools for about 250$ USD... It also support an external USB mouse
