Greetings,

I have a different kind but almost the same story.

My problem is I have 3 personal computers connected in LAN, 2 workstation
which contains individual but identical magic programs. 1 (one) server
whrein it also have the same magic program and shares database.

Server OS : Windows 98
Client OS : windows 95
Application : Magic 7.1e
Gateway : Btrieve 6.15

The problem is, the table locked when one client is trying to open it
while server is using, another situation, the table locked when server is
trying to open it while two client is in use.

We have tried to solve it like, changing the config.sys and the settings
of magic in maximum files handles and terminal handles, but still does not
work.

Hope you can advise us
