Hello, We´ve been using M2Sys Bioplugin since v9.4, you just need to place their plugin in the app and configure the driver and it does the rest, it can even save data to old versions of pervasive HTH,

We are using bioenabletech finger print scanner. We store the finger images in Cloud (AWS MS SQL). The Unipass Client computer use their sdk and match the finger images. This process not require heavy bandwidth.

For years now we have been using some touch screen computers, with Finger Print Readers as time clocks for several clients using a UP1.9 app.
We are to the point where we need to replace some of the computers and I am looking to see if anyone else is doing this type of system and what hardware you are using. One of the biggest issues we are having currently is in the speed of the actual finger print search/match process. Right now, to get the best possible speed we can, we create memory files on each workstation with the scanned finger prints for the employees. But we still seem to have a lag in finding matches when people 'Clock In and Out'. I know this is kind of a vague description of what we are doing, but hopefully it will be enough to see if anyone might have any thoughts. Thanks, Jim |
