XPA 3.1 Sort Table window appears and doesn't close, even after the output file has been created and closed
Tim Downie
Various magic versions have had this problem, in v3.x we have started to move the result database to memory for smaller revord sets.

Given that Magic pre-builds a temp index based on the Sort criteria, and then runs your program using this index AFTER it's been build (and in theory the box would be closed), how do I still have a sort table box on my user's screen even after they can open the file that was created in the program? No there are no parallel tasks/programs Yes the tasks interface property is set to "Close task window" = "Yes" It's been happening at least a few times a week for the past few weeks. No Magic updates applied. Was this just a bug in 3.1 that randomly occurs? |
