the function not escaping illegal characters, put backslash before apostrophes \" or create you own function.
if you work with sql server 2016 and later , you have build in function string_escape()

The question was not how to solve it, or to work around it ...

But it's indeed strange that a company with "Over 35 years of expertise and trusted by thousands of leading companies" does not have the experience to test their own product.
