Looking for a copy of the elusive "ColorFont.zip" file

Bob Witte

Good afternoon folks!

I'm actually about to try upping a long in the tooth v8.3 control file to v9.x.  And as many of you know from doing it some 20 years ago, it apparently helps to have a live copy of MSE's utility contained in the "ColorFont.zip" file.  I'm hoping that among the thousands of super brains we have on this Forum, there might be even just one super packrat that still has a working copy of that file!

If so, I would very much appreciate it if you would put said file in our "Files" folder so I can grab it and get going on this project.

TIA,
Bob

Bob,
In your 8.3 application, did you add your own colors/fonts above the Magic defaults, or did you use the Magic defaults?
If you're using your own already, then you wouldn't need to change very much

This is also useful if you've not seen it

After 36 years of using this stuff, I have lots of changes below the 100 mark and even more over 100.

Yep, I have it and it recommends using the ColorFont.zip utility, thus my request.

I just placed it in the files section:

Normally that is a good idea and actually, I did just that a few weeks ago.  But like what happens to so many of us, her copy of the Zip file apparently went the way of some of our constitutional rights and just disappeared.

Thanks Hans!  By way of another friend of mine in your neck of the woods, I'm uploading another copy of not only MSE's original Zip, but some other useful utilities as well.  This will help any even later arrivals to this need than my procrastination self.  This much larger file is called "ColorFontUtils.zip"

Thank you! Much safer place to save it than my memory.
