Unassigned design

Hi,
I still support and use an xpa 3.1 app with Pervasive 10.30 Workgroup, it's been all good and well, it's a small departmental tool but in some apects crucial to our team. Now it appears that the wider corporate landscape is going to change to 'unassigned design', meaning we will have no chair, no desk, no machine of our own. Will I be able to run the Pervasive Workgroup in such environment? So far I've used my box as a 'server'.

Cant imagine any landscape expecting developers to port all their garbage onto lots of machines, or worse spread about among random bits of kit.

Simplest is to put your box in the server room and RDP to it from whatever wreck you find yourself sitting at. If they are offering a more tiered/cloud type structure, tell them you need a Virtual Machine spun up for you to work on instead of your box.
