XPA 4.9/Btrieve 2 - DBMS error 8 during fetch operation #xpa

Hello all
After upgrading to XPA 4.9 we are experiencing "DBMS error during fetch operation: 8" when a task executes where the Range order is set to Descending and where the Main source Index is non-unique. According to the release notes, 4.9 has moved to using version 2 of the Btrieve API, so it's probably related to that. I've put in a support ticket, but I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this? Thanks, George |

This problem also occurs on Links that use Direction Reversed. I sent an app to MSE two weeks ago that demonstrates the problem. Please let the group know if you find any other problems. Thanks Todd,
Yes, we have reverted to using the API1 dll for now. Magic support suggest that it will work if an access key is applied to the table, but I haven't found that to be the case, and now I'm waiting to hear back again. George |
